VIAIR 85P Portable Air Compressor Description

Viair 85P is a small 12 volt portable compressor with a built-in LED work light, capable of inflating up to 31 - inch tires by simply plugging into your cigarette lighter power port (14.5 amperes maximum), and connecting the screw-on tire chuck to a tire valve stem before turning the unit on. Tire pressure can be monitored using the gauge incorporated into the top of the unit, above the ON/OFF switch. The power cord is 10 feet long and the maximum working pressure is 60 PSI. Viair Pump 
The last compressor I bought, was all plastic and made in China. (A different brand) I didn't use it much. One year later it stopped working. I bought the Viair online. I thought it was made in USA. Wrong! China again! (Next time i will make SURE of where an product is made,before I order!) This one looks like it was built better. Mostly metal and some solid plastic casing. It weighs a lot more than the first one. Hope it lasts longer than one year!!! The light that shows power to the compressor is a nice touch. The brass screw on connection to the tire is also better than others. It also worked with the adaptor for my road bike tires. If it still works in two years, I'll give it four stars. Five years, five stars!
worth the extra cash so far
I've owned a few of the cheapo 12v compressors and something always breaks on them in about a year or so. I'll have to see if this one holds up longer, but it appears to be made much better. It is definitely a lot faster, and quieter too. It puts not quite 10 psi per minute into my tires, so you cant walk away from it for long. Very handy thing to have if you have a very slow leaking tire, or to pump up that spare when you get a flat. I've had this for about a month.

Air compressor
The compressor works only if you tire is low but not completely flat, if you try to inflate a new tire on a rim, it will not generate enough pressure fast enough to get a seal between the tire and the rim to inflate the tire, Am I doing anything wrong?
