Just Average
For the price, it gives just an "ok" performance...I will be going back to the OEM Infiniti/nissan wiper blades when these wear off.
Good wipers
I live in rainy Northern California, where the wipers not only have to stand up to lots of rain, but mold can be a problem too. My Stock wipers were no good after only one rainy season, so I replaced them with Rain-x Latitude wipers. They do a great job. You can tell they make full contact across their entire length, so there are no streaks. They are even able to wipe off the thin mist than can form on the outside of the windshield when it is cold. I've had them for 9 months now and they have held up well and do not show any signs of mold either.
LOVE THIS WIPER!
BEST WIPER I HAVE EVER USED. I'VE GOT A TOTAL OF 8 OF THEM ON THREE VEHICLES. I HAVE USED THE OTHER PREMIUMS, AND THEY SEEM LIKE KLUDGE TO ME AFTER THE LATITUDES. ALSO, I BELIEVE THIS IS THE ONLY WIPER THAT CONSUMER REPORTS REVIEWED THAT "...WORKED AS GOOD AT 12 MONTHS AS IT DID THE FIRST DAY." THE "EXPERTS" SUGGEST THAT WIPERS BE CHANGED EVERY 6-9 MONTHS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE LATITUDE.
Only problem is with ice...
This blade adheres well to the windshield. Wipes very clean and does not chatter or lift off the glass when travelling at any speed. The only issue I've had is when the blades are iced up - they pretty much lose their flexibility (not surprising) and don't wipe much at all. After running the defrost for 15 minutes to heat up the glass, they worked better. Also, spraying with some de-icing windshield cleaner, which I use every winter anyways, eventually freed them up.
All in all they clean better than any other wiper I've tried, but as far as icing conditions, the rubber booted winter blades (like Anco) worked better in that particular situation.
Since I park mostly inside garages day and night, I'll probably stick with these going forward. I very much like not having 2 sets of blades to change out all the time. Reminds me of when all season tires eliminated the semi annual trip to the tire shop to switch out winter and summer rubber.
A clear view
My second pair and I still love them! My family is now starting to install them on all of their vehicles. Simple to install, quiet, and gets the job done!
