Dual 2" Hitch Bicycle Receiver Adapter Extender Extension 4000lb customer reviews: Serves the purpose This Dual Extender is great for attaching your bike carrier without having to give up the option of trailing another item. Solid piece of equipment. Great concept...too short for a Jeep with a rear-mounted tire I haven't actually used it yet but boy was I annoyed when I couldn't get it to go in all the way because the rear-mounted tire on my Jeep was in the way. Of course, that was my fault not to have determined that in advance. I ordered an extension, wchih should make it all work just fine. But, an extension takes away a some of the towing capacity and tongue weight. My suggestion to the manufacturer would be to measure up some Jeeps and other SUVs with a rear-mounted tire and then either add a longer version or just tack on 3-4 inches to this model. The seller was great about my order. Can't wait to hook up my new teardrop trailer (from golittleguy.com) to the bottom receiver and install my Freedom Grill (from BadBoyGriller.com) on the top then head off to a State Park for a little camping next spring.
