Check the clearance above your current mirror before purchase.
The unit wouldn't work on either of my vehicles because there isn't enough room beween the top of the OEM mirror and the roof of the car.
I could see how this could be an excellent item, but may not work on newer cars. I have an 08 Avalance and 08 VW Beetle. I purchased for the Bug, but decided to try it on the Chevy which it also didn't fit.
Make sure you have about 3 inches (best guess) clearance above existing or don't purchase. I'm happy with refund policy, but no matter how great it is it is still not as good as getting something that works upfront.

Lanechanger plus mirror
We purchased this mirror due to my daughter only having vision in her left eye. This mirror has improved her capabilities to see what is behind her and just where cars are after she passes someone and needs to get back into the proper lane. It is highly recommended by her, and me! I feel much safer with her having this mirror on her windshield. If you have limited vision, give this product a try! It's super, and very helpful! Thanks to Lanechanger for offering this product!
Good idea...poor exectution with the adhesive pads.
This is an excellent idea and the optics are excellent for the price. You can see everything all around the car that you ever want to see, including yourself. Thus, it's great for us narcissists.
However, attaching it with adhesive pads doesn't cut it. Mine stuck for a few weeks, then after the first really hot day the top pads gunked up and popped right off. Never could get it to stick again. It should just clip on somehow.
I got the full dual replacement mirror made by the same guys and that [other] one rocks because it just completely replaces your existing one. This one, and its adhesive pads, live at the landfill now.
