Type S Tiny Traveler, Rear Window Sunshade customer reviews: Works very well. When my wife and I began shopping for a rear sunshade for our 2002 Honda Accord we compared: 1. The First Years Car Rear Sunshade (32" x 13") 2. Kel Gar Safari Rear Window Sun Shade (40" x 19") 3. Type S Tiny Traveler Rear Window Sunshade (39.5" x 19.5") The First Years has 3 suction mounts across the top and then 2 velcro fasteners at the bottom, so it mounts a bit different than the other 2 rear sunshades which are completely suction based and are more flush with the rear windshield. The Kel Gar Safari has a neat safari design around the border, but we thought that might obstruct visibility somewhat. It is probably a very good choice, however, and is considerably larger than The First Years. Obviously, we bought the Type S Tiny Traveler. At time of writing there appears to be no manufacturer's website. In fact, we did not actually know its dimensions until it arrived and we measured it ourselves. It works quite well. Two 1.5" suction cups in the middle right and middle left keep it flush against the window. This design is superior because the other models have to have a gap at the top where the sun can sneak in, due to the placement of the suction cups. Suction quality is fine, but make sure you clean the area first with rubbing alcohol. Also, we recommend slightly wetting the suction cup with water before applying. Even with windows down and air circulating, it seems to only fall down once or twice a week. If desired, one could easily replace the 1.5" suction cups with 2" or bigger suction cups from Home Depot, Lowe's, or an arts & crafts store. As for visibility through the material... not great. At night time it is hard to see cars behind unless their lights are on. Apparently all rear sunshades suffer from this problem. If you think about it... they are design to block light from entering to reach your baby. But in doing so, they also block light between your eyes and the environment behind your car. I hope this review helps in your decision. VERY NEAT LOOKING I LIKE THIS SHADE VERY WELL...GOES ON EASY AS PIE.AND FITS MY CAVALIER PERFECTLY..ONLY DISAPOINTMENT IS THE LACK OF VISIBILITY...... ILL JUST USE IT WHEN I PARK.... Great Product, Poor Visability This product is great, as far as what it claims to do. It definitely blocks out the sun, and remains in place well (sometimes a little moisture is necessary on the suction cups). But the visability with this product is poor. As a driver, I'm constantly cringing, hoping that I'm not backing up into someone or something!I'm not sure if any of the window shades provide good visability, so it might just be something that you have to deal with. Although, I'm now thinking about having my windows professionally tinted. I figure it's probably cheaper than backing up into another car, and paying the deductible! Not my favorite I read some good reviews about this and I guess it's the best one out on the market that's similar to this. But I'm not loving it. There is no rear visibility for the driver when this is up, and the suction cups keeps falling off. There's only two suction cups and and it might help if there were four. I'm considering to tint my windows. Works Perfectly For Me This is the best investment I have made in years. Contrary to what others have experienced, the screen has cut my rear visibility only a fraction when I look out the back to back up, but it has stopped the infuriating night blindness caused by vehicles with high headlights riding my rear bumper. The screen cuts the glare from their headlights to a degree I never dreamed possible and makes driving at night much easier. The product is a thin screen that is supposed to attach by two miniscule suction cups. The cups did not appear worth using so I used 2" clear packing tape, 4 small pieces at the corners, and the screen has stayed in place perfectly. This product is perfect for cutting headlight glare from the rear. It makes looking out a little more difficult but my 60 year old eyes see fine to back up. A 5 star purchase.
