ProVision 300 Flexible Fiberscope - 36 In Shaft Description ProVision 300 Flexible Fiberscope w/ 36" Shaft High resolution lens provides a clear image of objects as close as 3/4 inch and over one foot away while providing a wide 40 degree field of view. Powerful lamp illuminates dark crevices on-demand with the push of a button conveniently located on the handle. Ergonomically designed handle is comfortable to hold and allows one-handed focusing and light activation. Rugged and water resistant, ProVision is made of high impact ABS and flexible cable sheathing that obediently stays in a set position. (Note: Shaft is water resistant, not the handle.) Adjust the cable into any position and it will stay fixed in place, until you decide to change it. Durable carrying case included. ProVision 300 Flexible Fiberscope - 36 In Shaft customer reviews: Works great! I bought this item as a convenience tool for around the home so I expect it to sit there in its nice box most of the time. I have used it once to help fish electrical through the walls. There was an extra fire break that made it tough. I was easily able to get inside there, focus to the right distance, light it up very well with the built in lights, and wiggle my way through the tiny little hole I had to fish through. It really worked very well. When I bought the unit it had dark specs all over it when I looked through it. I tried cleaning the end with no success at all. I sent it in for service and got it back in three weeks. No charges other than the initial shipping. I was very pleased with how ease it was to get the problem resolved. As a side note. There is a sticker in the compartment for the batteries used to power the light. That sticker rolls over and catches the batteries making it very hard to get the batteries out. I used a pair of tweezers to reach in and remove that sticker and now the batteries slide in and out very easily.
