Strong Beam
Product performs as advertised.
It is on the bulky side, but has a bright beam and very rugged design.
EXCELLENT FLASHLIGHT
This is the second one of these that I own. These are re-chargable and hold a charge for a long time plus offer a long usage time on a single charge. Illumination is excellent and can be switched for one or two bulb operation. I have owned several other name brand, million candle power, rechargable lights that have been major wastes of money (long charge times, short run times). The Brinkmann lights are smaller, fit the hand well and are easy to operate but are probably too big for the average glovebox. A great light for use around the house. You won't be disappointed.
Must Have Received A Totally Different Item From The Previous Reviewers!
This is by far the worst spotlight I have ever purchased! It cannot possibly be the same product the previous reviewers received. The light is dim comparatively; the charge lasts all of nine minutes, if that; and I really, positively am INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED. I thought I was getting the cat's meow but ended up with the dog's poop!
Extremely useful and reliable...
This light has been extremely useful and reliable. It has a strong white beam that will flood the area, and a selectable 1 or 2 bulb switch. The lock allows you to lay it down while the light stays on. You can plug the light directly into 12 volts, so it charges from your car. It has a high-capacity battery, but I have never used it long enough to wear down. It seems to hold a charge surprisingly well, even after weeks the indicator LED shows no sign of needing a charge. It is durable and suitable to leave knocking around your car. Highly recommended.
Not a Spotlight
They call it a spotlight, but it is really a flashlight, which is misleading. It works well as a flashlight, with very bright white light shining 10 to 20 feet away in a dispersed pattern. Very comfortable to hold, and not too heavy.
The rechargeable battery in mine failed to hold a charge after only eight months. And the battery is not covered by the Brinkmann warranty, so the flashlight is already toast. Very disappointing.
